Registration
To purchase tickets to BirdFest events or to purchase BirdFest merchandise, you must first register for the BirdFest website. This will allow you to log in to the site to reserve tickets, print your schedule, and to stay updated about future BirdFest activities.
After registering and selecting the events you want to attend, you can review your schedule and make changes before proceeding to pay for the tickets. If you have any questions or problems during the process please contact us. You may also contact us at 251.621.1902.
- All trips and evening events require advance registration. Registrations will be filled in the order in which they are received. Many trips have limited space or seating, so register early!
- Registration closes on Tuesday, October 14 at 12 noon (CST).
- If you register online, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. If you register by mail, your registration and payment must be received by Friday, September 26, 2008 in order to receive written confirmation in the mail.
- You must check-in inside at the 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center at least 30 minutes prior to departure time for every trip for which you are registered - whether by bus or carpool. Bus transportation is provided for some trips as noted in trip descriptions. If a bus is not part of a trip, participants are asked to gather at 5 Rivers to drive or carpool to the sites on the trip. Maps will be provided.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
To make changes or cancel a trip, please contact the BirdFest at 251-621-1902.
The Alabama Coastal BirdFest reserves the right to cancel any event for any reason.
In the unlikely event that BirdFest cancels a trip, we will notify registered participants as soon as possible and issue a refund.
Registrants who need to cancel may do so. Refunds will be granted per the following policies:
- Registrant cancellations before Sept. 12, 2008 – full refund
- Registrant cancellations before Sept. 26, 2008 – 50% refund
- Registrant cancellations after Sept. 26, 2008 – no refund
